The Beautiful Beaches of Toronto’s East End
Having recently returned to Toronto after living in Vancouver for over 2 years, I have made sure to revisit the beauty of the sunrises over the lake.
Getting up early has its rewards. Living in this area, the best reward is the ever changing sunrise. The walk from our place to the beach is only about 5 minutes, then, it’s either go east along the boardwalk into the rising sun, where we would normally turn back at the Water Works (RC Harris Filtration Plant. Or we head west and follow the boardwalk to its end and then continue along the walking patch through what we’ve always referred to as the Peanut as it winds its away along the waterline and Ashbridges Bay. Sometimes, as you can see from the photos here, It is always nice, if I can manage to, get out well before the sun comes up as there’s opportunity for some very cool shots!
