We moved to Vancouver for a few years

Due to many reasons, one being the lingering pandemic, we made a life change and moved from Toronto to Vancouver! It’s a long story….but very exciting. After we sold our house, packed up everything to be shipped, and saw the moving truck leave, we hoped in our own car and made the drive across country, with most of the driving being through the USA. We saw some very cute towns and some picturesque scenery along the way. Half way through, we left super hot temperatures in North Dakota, only to spend the next day fighting a major snow storm, with whiteout conditions that made us have to leave the highway and shack up in the small town of Sturgis SD. When the roads opened up again, we continued on and drove along more beautiful mountain roads with more craziness navigating a sleet storm through Mount Baker WA! Yes, we eventually made it and got settled in Vancouver. and What an adventure!
